Telangana got to set up Digital Innovation Centre at RGUKT (IIIT): Basara

Hyderabad, Sep 26 (UNI) Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao (know as KTR) on Monday stated that a Digital Innovation Centre would be established at RGUKT (Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies), formerly known as Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Basar (Nirmal district), in collaboration with the Education department and T-Hub soon.
Addressing the students at IIIT campus, Mr KTR, who visited the institute along with Ministers A Indrakaran Reddy, Sabitha Indra Reddy and Srinivas Goud, said the institute will be developed on multiple fronts with the support of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
Announcing several measures for the betterment of the Institute including set up of 50 additional model classrooms and a state-of-the-art digital lab with 1000 computers, he said the institute will be developed on the lines of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United State
