Teenager Ishan Kishan's 21-ball-62 helps Mumbai Indian to score 210/6 against KKR at Eden

Kolkata, May 9 (UNI) Nineteen-year-old Ishan Kishan stole the limelight at Eden Gardens
with his left handed blistering 21-ball-62 runs that powered Mumbai Indians to score 210/6
against Kolkata Knight Riders at crucial IPL match here tonight.
KKR need 211 in 20 overs.
Tailender Ben Cutting 8-ball-24 with a boundary and three sixes put the visitors above 200.
Batsman from Patna in Bihar Ishan Kishan made his first 50 in 17 balls with four long sixes
from Kuldeep Yadav and accelerated MI score while his captain Rohit Sharma was watching
in awe.
Ishan Kishan was unlucky to exit while his a skying shot off Sunil Narain was taken just at
edge of line. Ishan hit five boundaries and six towering sixes.
Even Narain was not spared by the teenage sensation for the night at Eden. Isan got his
palace along with KL Rahul ( 50 in 14 ball) Narain 50 in 17 balls. Kuldeep conceded 42 runs
in his three overs.
KKR broke MI's first wicket partnership at 46 in 5.4 overs when West Indian opener Evin
Lewis (18) miscued a Piyush Chawla's straighter and the ball took towards sky behind the
wicket after a hit at bat and pad and finally Chris Lynn grabbed safely.
This was an unlucky dismissal for Evin Lewis, whose catch was dropped in previous over
of Prasidh Krishna by Kuldeep Yadav on 16. His going, however, checked the run spree for
the visitors to a great extent.
MI got second blow soon when former KKR batsman Suryakumar Yadav (36 from 32-ball)
got out from again Piyush Chawla's delivery. Rinku Singh held the catch at long leg safely
and brought cheer to home fans.

The play also witnessed a sloppy fielding from the home side as MI skipper Rohit Sharma
was given a life at 11 when his catch off Andre Russell was dropped by Nitish Rana.
Rohit finally scored 36 from 31-ball with two fours and a six.
Bowler Ben Cutting cut the sorry figure for KKR bowlers with his willow scoring 24 from
eight balls.
Piyush Chawla took 3 for 48 followed by Pradish Krishan 1/41, Tom Curran 1/33, Sunil
Narain 1/27.
