Tea plantation workers' training started under PMKVY

Ambassa (Tripura), Dec 10 (UNI) To skill up the Tea workers under the umbrella of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana(PMKVY) an organization Valuer Fabtax started the Recognition of Period Learning(RPL) programme at Ramdurlabhpur Tea Estate in Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here yesterday.
The programme was inaugurated by the Minister Manoj Kanti Deb while Project Coordinator Kisan Yadav, Manager of Ramdurlabhpur Tea Estate Subrata Singharoy, Assistant Manager Dipankar Ahir, Tea Garden Workers' Cell state Joint Coordinator Indubhusan Goala and others remained present.
In his short speech, Minister Manoj remarked, "PMKVY aims to skill up the workers in different sectors to enhance the workforce and to ensure sustainability in their lives. Tea workers are an important part of the economy here. But many of the generations involved in this field lack proper skill. Now the RPL programme would surely better their skill".
