Taxmann partners with BSNL to grab corporates, SMEs customers in AP, Telangana

Hyderabad, Oct 6 (UNI) Taxmann, one of the authorised Goods and Service Tax Suvidha Providers (GSPs) today announced partnership with state owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to assist corporates and SMEs in managing GST compliance by launching Taxmann BSNL ‘One Solution’ software.

As per the partneship, the revenue share between the BSNL and Taxmann was 40:60.

Speaking on the partnership Mr Aditya Singhania, Deputy General Manager (DGM) – GST, Taxmann said we have designed a " special tool" (one solution software) for BSNL subscribers and would provide the software free up to Octoer 20 for the subscribers.

We will also provide the software on subsidy base for the BSNL customers and for the public, the cost will be around Rs 10,500, she said as an authorised GSP, we are providing GST services to our customers across the country.

With this partnership with BSNL, we are planning to capture 60 per cent of the market share in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the next six months,” he said.

The software will also offer pan india BSNL subscribers in a phased manner, he said that we also offering free uploading of 1,000 invoices for BSNL customers alone.

The software not only ensures simplified work flow to ensure user ease but also offers robust import capability to facilitate data import from any accounting software/ERP and also offers bundle of unique features along with integrated GSP services ensures a robust GST compliance software with perfect blend of law and technology, he claimed.

The Software especially focuses on different needs of corporates and SMEs and Tax Professionals, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, BSNL Principal General Manager (Finance), Telangana Circle, Ms Sujatha Venkateswaran said “The application software for GST returns filing and compliances has been so designed that even a small businessman with little IT skills can ensure GST compliances at his own.

The entrepreneur is not required to depend on any CA or other tax expert for filing returns under GST regime, she said the service is targeted at remotely located small traders, shopkeepers and SMEs, who are the BSNL subscribers, across India.”

We have over 1.6 lakh corporate subscribers including SMEs in Telangana circle, she said "BSNL customers can avail the service by logging on to the BSNL’s official website i.e.www.bsnl.co.in and clicking on GSP SERVICE under GST tab on right side of the web page.

On this page a list of four GSPs will be displayed. The customer has to choose and click on any one of the GSP as per his choice. The user can start availing the service after providing the basic information like name, BSNL phone no., email address, she added.
