Tame Phassang elected Mayor of IMC

Itanagar, January 15 (UNI) BJP leader Tame Phassang was elected as the Mayor and National People's Party's (NPP's) Biri Basang as Deputy Mayor of Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) on Friday.
Phassang and Basang are corporators from ward no.17 and seven respectively. They were elected as Mayor and Dy Mayor in the presence of Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso, Commissioner IMC Cheechung Chukhu, Director Town Planning Likha Suraj and corporators.
BJP corporator from ward no 19, Tarh Nachung, presided over the election process as the presiding officer.
