Take precautionary measures against H1N1: BJP

Puducherry, Feb 6 (UNI) The Puducherry Bharatiya Janata Party today urged the administration to take immediate precautionary measures to prevent the swine flu from spreading.
In a statement here, state president V Saminathan said, everyone coming to the hospitals with H1N1 symptoms should be properly checked. The primary health centres and hospitals should be equipped to meet the requirements of the swine flu patients.
He said mobile hospitals should be arranged by the administration and “Nilavembu Kashayam” -- Siddha Medicine recommended for prevention and management of all types of viral -- distributed to the people as a precautionary measure. He also urged the municipalities to take immediate steps to remove the stray pigs from the roads and other areas.
