Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana to contest 5 -6 Lok Sabha seats independently: Shetty

Kolhapur, Mar 21 (UNI) Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana (SSS) national chief Raju Shetty has announced that SSS would contest five to six Lok Sabha seats independently, including Hatkanangale Lok Sabha constituency of this district.
Addressing SSS study camp which was held at Amba in Shahuwadi tehsil of this district today Mr Shetty said that SSS would contest coming loksabha election independently and decided to contest five to six loksabha seats in the state including Hatkanangale loksabha constituency of this district, where he was defeated in last loksabha election, however the other constituencies where we wanted to contest, would be decided in SSS state working committee meeting.
Shetty said that we left Maha Vikas Aghadi while already left alliance with Bhartiya Janata Party. SSS has continued fight on different issues including on farmers, labourers, women unemployment issues and this fight was not yet end as adminstration of central and state goverment were against democracy and it was need to tell both governments that they could not rule with giving difficulties to the people's.
