Sustainable Energy Technology and Policies- A Transformational Journey published by Springer

Kolkata, Dec 27 (UNI) The Bengal Chamber, in association with Global Change Program, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, has brought out a book today titled ‘‘Sustainable Energy Technology and Policies- A Transformational Journey”, published by Springer.
This endeavour involves contributions from experts from both Industry and Academia Globally.
India submitted a report to The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2015.The report mentioned that 40% of our electricity generation capacity would be based on renewable sources and not on fossil fuels. The carbon intensity of our economy would be 30-35 per cent less by 2030 as compared to 2005.
