Bengaluru, May 26(UNI) The Independent candidate Sumalatha Ambharish, who had trounced the JD(S) candidate in the prestigious Mandya Lok Sabha seat, will go by the wishes of the voters of her constituency to join the Bharatiya Janata Party any other political parties.
Speaking to newsmen after paying a courtesy visit to the Opposition leader in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly B S Yeddyurappa, who is also BJP State President here on Sunday, she said that she want to tour all the Assembly segments in her Lok Sabha constituency and thank those who supported her in the election.
"I have won the election as an independent candidate and people of Mandya irrespective of caste, community and affiliation to political parties had blessed me and will go by their wishes on future course of action" she added.
