Mohali, Dec 13 (UNI) Sri Lanka skipper Thisara Perera, who played for Kings XI Punjab in Indian Premier League (IPL), won the toss and decided to field against India in the second One-Day International match in the three-match series at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium here today.
He described the Mohali pitch better than the last wicket. The Sri Lanka captain ruled out any change in the team which won the first ODI by seven wickets in Dharamshala.
Captain Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan opened the Indian innings. Eighteen-year old Tamil Nadu off spinner Washington Sundar became the seventh youngest player to make his One-Day International debut for India. He replaced Kuideep Yadav.
