Sports needs to be promoted as mass movement to tackle drug abuse: Kanwar Sandhu

Jalandhar, Jun 10 (UNI) Lack of promotion of sports and growing menace of drug abuse emerged as key issues during the Punjab Dialogue with youth & Sports persons initiated by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) here today.
Amidst attendance of who is who of the sports-persons, who have joined the AAP in the recent days and budding sports persons of the city, the dialogue stressed the positive effects of sports and developments require in the field of sports to provide active participation in learning the important life skills of goal setting and diverting the minds of the Youth for a good cause.
Head of the Punjab Dialogue Kanwar Sandhu along with Senior Party leaders Ashish Khetan, HS Phoolka, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Head of the Youth Wing of the AAP, Harjot Singh Bains, Yamini Gaumer and Sajjan Singh Cheema had an impressive interaction with the Youth at Monica Resort on Jalandhar-Phagwara road.
