Six private universities to come up in Bihar soon

Patna, Mar 09 (UNI) Bihar government today announced in Assembly that six new universities in private sector would be established in the state soon and notifications for four of them had already been issued, while process for others were in progress.
Parliamentary affairs minister Shravan Kumar, while replying to a debate on budgetary demand of Education department for the financial year 2018-19 in the House, said that six new universities in private sector would be established soon in Bihar and the state government had already issued notification for four of them. Univerisites for which notifications had been issued were-- Amity University in Patna, Sandeep University in Madhubani, K K University in Biharsharif and Dr C V Raman University in Vaishali, he added.
"Process for setting up two more universities in private sector were in progress which included-- Al-Karim University in Katihar and Gopal Narain University in Sasaram," Mr Kumar said, adding that four premier institutes including Centre for Geographical Studies, School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Patliputra School of Economics and Centre for River Studies had been established in Aryabhatta Knowledge University in Patna.
