New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) As various sexual harassment allegations have taken up centre stage all over the country, Indian sportspersons from all walks of life have expressed their support of the #MeToo movement that has begun a year ago and suddenly resurfaced its pace, breaking women's silence on enduring sexual abuses.
"I appreciate that people have come forward and spoken about it. I respect it,", said Badmintion star PV Sindhu here at the Vodafone event, where the telecom company launched a woman-specific service 'Sakhi' on Wednesday.
The Rio Olympic silver medallist heaped praise on people from different spheres, who have come forward in exposing personalities who sought sexual favours from their colleagues.
