Shepherd trampled to death by jumbos in Puthalapattu Mandal

Chittoor, Jan 17 (UNI) In a tragic incident, a shepherd was trampled to death by the elephants in Nandikonda forest near Thalupulapalli in Puthalapattu mandal on Sunday.

The villagers who found the terrific incident immediately informed the villagers and police as well. The police registered a case.

Two JNTUK students selected for prestigious Amazon education programme

Kakinada, May 1 (UNI) Two girl students of CSE first year of JNTUK College of Engineering – G Padmapriya and M. Kavitha - have been selected for the prestigious Amazon Future engineering programme in the National level competition.
Under the programme, they will get Rs.50,000 yearly scholarship for four years and a laptop, paid internships besides chances of placement on a permanent basis in higher package system, a JNTUK official said on Wednesday. UNI KNR SSP.
