New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld a verdict of Delhi High Court which had acquitted Jharkhand Mukti Morcha chief, Shibu Soren, in the murder case of his private secretary Shashi Nath Jha 14 years ago.
The division bench, headed by Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel, also comprised Justice Rohinton Fali Nariman.
It refused to interfere with the August 22, 2007, verdict of the HC which had set aside the trial court judgement holding Soren guilty in the murder case.
The bench ruled, "We are upholding the verdict of the Delhi High Court."
