Shah greets on Baishakhi, Odia New Year; prays for COVID warriors

New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Baishakhi and prayed for those, who have been engaged in fighting the Novel Coronavirus pandemic.
He also greeted the people of Odisha on their New Year.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, he said 'On this occasion, we all should resolve to follow the guideline to win over Coronavirus.
'We should pray to God to give the strength to warriors, who are fighting to free this country from this epidemic,' Mr Shah tweeted.
In another tweet, written in Odia language, the Home Minister also greeted the people from Odisha for Odia New Year.
'Wishing my dear sisters and brothers of Odisha on the occasion of Odia New Year and MahaBishuba Pana Sankranti. May MahaPrabhu Jagannath bless everyone with good health and happiness,' he added.
