Seven missing girls from 5 districts of UP rescued

Thane, Nov 28 (UNI) In a major “Operation Uttar Pradesh” which lasted for around nine days the team of AHTC of the Navi Mumbai police braved all heavy odds and traced out as many as eight teenagers who went missing from their houses in navi Mumbai since the last two years the police said on Saturday.
The Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Bipin Kumar Singh, appreciated the efforts by the team of AHTC lead by Sr. PI Arjun Garad in tracing the missing girls all teenagers in the special drive undertaken by the police.
A senior officer of the cell told this correspondent that the team members faced untold problems besides the severe cold and traveling woes did not not give up and burnt midnight oil to trace the missing girls who had been wooed by the boys to UP and were living with them for months.
