Mumbai, Mar 18 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday gained by 84.89 points at 38,109.21 as buying was seen in Realty, IT, Technology, Realty, Industrials and Bankex stock
stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 28.40 points to 11,455.25.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 38,369.59 and 38,028.45 respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 11,530.15 and 11,430.10 points respectively.
The gainers were Tata Motors by 1.55 pc to Rs 183, Axis Bank by 1.50 pc to Rs 746.75, NTPC by 1.49 pc to Rs 160, Powergrid by 1.38 pc to Rs 195 and Kotak Bank by 1.26 pc to Rs 1342.
The losers were Maruti Suzuki by 3.43 pc to Rs 6848.95, HeroMoto Corp by 2.11 pc to Rs 2681.30, VEDL by 1.34 pc to Rs 172.90 and M & M by 1.10 pc to Rs 685.50.
