Mumbai, Oct 17 (UNI) The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) rose marginally today by 20 points at 32,654.41 as buying was witnseed in Materials, FMCG, Finance, Indutrials and Telcom stocks. The Nifty too moved up by 12.95 points to 10,243.75. The BSE registered intra day high and low at 32,659.32 and 32,556.74 respectively. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) recorded day intra day and low at 10,248.20 and 10,212.60 respectively. Sectoral indices like Materials, FMCG, Finance, Indutrials and Telcom stocks kept the market firm in early trade. The gainers were Bharti Airtel by 1.27 pc to Rs 458.75, Asian Paints by 1.06 pc to Rs 1182, Bajaj Auto by 0.87 pc to Rs 39.95 and Sun Pharma by 0.74 pc to Rs 552.75. The losers were Tata Motors by 0.85 pc to Rs 432.85, M & M by 0.64 pc to Rs 1358.50, Tata Motors by 0.49 pc to Rs 244 and Coal India by 0.48 pc to Rs 288.81. UNI NV SM1121
