Mumbai , Jul 20 (UNI)The benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) fell by 399.22 points or 1.03 per cent to settle at 38,337.01.
NSE Nifty too fell by 133.25 points or 1.15 per cent to settle at 11,419.25.
The BSE Mid-Cap index fell 475.54 points or 3.27 pc to settle at 14,078.34. The BSE Small-Cap index fell 466.23 points or 3.38 per cent to settle at 13,310.35.
Key domestic indices edged higher on Monday, July 15 , 2019, led by IT major Infosys raising its revenue forecast. Firmness in IT shares boosted indices, The Sensex rose 160.48 points to settle at 38,896.71. Nifty too rose 35.85 points to settle at 11,588.35.
Key equity benchmarks ended higher on Tuesday, July16, 2019, supported by gains in Reliance Industries and Larsen and Toubro (L&T). Weakness in TCS and HDFC Bank capped gains. Sensex rose 234.33 points to settle at 39,131.04.Nifty rose 72.70 points to settle at 11,661.05.
Indices ended higher for third consecutive trading session on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 backed by firmness in banks and IT shares. Gains were capped amid weakness in other Asian shares. The Sensex rose 84.60 points to settle at 39,215.64. NSE Nifty rose 24.90 points to settle at 11,687.50, its highest closing level since 5 July 2019.
