New Delhi, Mar 22 (UNI) In a bid to prevent spread of deadly COVID-19, section 144 will be imposed in the National Capital from 2100 hrs on Sunday 22 upto March 31, wherein any kind of demonstration, processions, protests will be banned.
Any gathering be it social, cultural, political, religious, sports, academic, educational and others will be
prohibited, a Delhi police order said .
Weekly markets, except fruits and vegetables and other essentials is prohibited under the same.
There will also be a ban on group tours, guided tours that are conducted by various tour operators, the
order said.
Any body who contravenes the order shall be punishable under the section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
