Second stringe BFC beat Abahani Dhaka 1-0 in AFC group league tie

Bengaluru, Mar 14 (UNI) Bengaluru Football Club (BFC) fielding a second string team today defeatedAbahani Dhaka 1-0 to make a winning start in the AFC group E league tie played at Sree Kanteerava Stadium here today.
With the ISL title firmly insight, when the locals play Chennaian FC in the title clash on March 17, coach Albarto Roca tried to reshuffle his side and played a younger group resting the seniors but still it was too good for visitors as Daniel struch in the second half with the match winner in the 1-0 win for BFC at home.
Daniel Lalhlimpuia struck late but decisively on the 72ndminute that gave the Blues a 1-0 win over Abahani Limited Dhaka (Bangladesh).
