Search is on to find seven Fishermen and owner of 'Suvarna Tribuja' fishing boat missing since Dec 22

Bengaluru, Jan 3 (UNI) Coastal Security Police and Coastal guard are on the toes to find seven fishermen and owner of 'Suvarna Tribuja' fishing boat who are missing since December 22, while ventured into deep sea fishing from Malpe fishing harbour in Mangaluru District of Karnataka.
According to a complaint filed with Coastal Security Police station, Malpe, Nithyananda, brother of Chandrashekar, owner of the fishing boat 'Suvarna Tribhuja' (IND KA02 MM 4632, Red Colour Steel Boat with white top and blue base cabin) ventured into the sea on December 13 along with seven fishermen for fishing in deep sea. Chandrashekar had last contacted on Dec 22 and informed Nithyananda on Dec 16 that they were fishing near Goa and were unable to contact with the fishermen on the other boats from Malpe. As their fishing duration is of 10 days, they were to return to Malpe on Dec 22. But till date they have not returned and their whereabouts was not known, according to a release from DG & IGP office here on Thursday.
The missing 7 fishermen are Damadar Badanidiyar, Lakshman Kumta, Sathisha Kumtra, Ravi, Manki Harish Kumta, Ramesh Kumta and Jogayya Kuta.
