SCR commissions Double Line between Betamcherla - Bugganapalle

Hyderabad, Mar 28 (UNI) South Central Railway (SCR) has completed and commissioned along with electrification the doubling of section between Betamcherla – Bugganapalle Cement Nagar for a distance of 6.2 KM, SCR Chief Public Relations Officer Ch Rakesh said here on Thursday.
The section is a part of the ongoing Guntur - Guntakal Doubling project. Works are in fast progress and a few sections have been commissioned in different stretches during the current financial year, the CPRO said in a release here on Thursday.
The doubling of section between Betamcherla – Bugganapalle Cement Nagar section falls in Kurnool Andhra Nandyal districts of Andhra Pradesh and with the completion of the doubling of this section, now, there will be a continuous double line facility along with electrification for 113 KM between Guntakal - Bugganapalle, CPRO said.
