School under ADC suffering for teacher and infrastructure

Ambassa (Tripura), Mar 21 (UNI) A school set up 65 years ago is in deplorable plight for lack of teacher and infrastructure imposing threat to the notion of quality education in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here.
Swetrai Senior Basic school by the National Highway 208 sets in the tribal dominated Swetrai village almost 60 kilometres away from the district headquarters. Established in 1954 the school is under the Education department of Tripura Tribal Area Autonomous District Council(TTAADC).
The school has 66 students and four teachers. Amidst them only one teacher identified as Amulya Debbarma is regular teacher and the rest three are working in ad-hoc basis. The school has no Headmaster. And hence Amulya Debbarma handles the charge.
