New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) Schools for classes up to 8 will continue to remain close while only 50 per cent of the strength will be allowed to attend classes physically above grade 8 till October 31, according to the latest order from Delhi Disaster Management Authority issued on Thursday.
Besides, the authority has directed all District Magistrates, District DCPs and top officials of other agencies to enforce strict enforcement of COVID Appropriate Behaviour at all places identified vulnerable for transmission of COVID-19, in view of upcoming festivals.
It also said that a criminal prosecution could be initiated against the defaulters found violating COVID-19 containment norms.
