New Delhi, Dec 5 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Thursday reserved its order after Tamil Nadu State Election Commission submitted that it is ready to hold local body polls, except in nine districts.
A bench, headed by Chief Justice of India S A Bobde, reserved the order on the issue of necessary formalities for delimitation as it has yet not been undertaken in Tamil Nadu to conduct the local bodies polls in the state.
"We are reserving the order in the issue. We will pass appropriate order or directions on the present issue," the bench said.
