Sardar Sarovar Narmada project: SC to hear MP govt's petition tomorrow

New Delhi , Mar 29 (UNI)The Supreme Court will tomorrow hear a petition where the Madhya Pradesh state government can get the complete custody of a report by an inquiry commission into the alleged corruption in relief and rehabilitation work undertaken by it in connection with the Sardar Sarovar Narmada Project.
The apex court will decide if the High Court or the state government will get exclusive possession of the inquiry report or not.
A division bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court had on February 16 had rejected the state government's demand that it should be first handed over the inquiry commission's report and that it would place it in the legislative assembly.
