Sanjay Singh takes oath as RS MP

New Delhi, Mar 19 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh took oath as a Rajya Sabha MP on Tuesday in the presence of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar.
Singh, who is in jail in connection with an alleged Delhi liquor policy scam, was granted permission to take the oath by the Delhi High Court on Monday.
He was elected as a Rajya Sabha member for the second time in January but could not take the oath as the court did not grant him permission to do so, citing the pending case in the Privileges Committee.
