Samarkand hosts 1st India-Central Asia Dialogue

Tashkent, Jan 12 (UNI) The first meeting of the India-Central Asia Dialogue at the level of Foreign Ministers is being held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from Saturday to discuss cooperation in a host of areas, including trade, investment and logistics.
The Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Salahuddin Rabbani is taking part in the Dialogue as a special invitee for a session dedicated to connectivity in the region.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Svaraj and her Uzbek counterpart Abdulaziz Kamilov are the co-chairs of the Dialogue.
