Russian investigative Committee files criminal case against SBU agent pursuing scribe Vyshinsky's case

Moscow, Jan 22(UNI) The Russian investigative Committee has filed a criminal case against an investigator of Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) for the illegal criminal prosecution of journalist Kirill Vyshinsky, Investigative Committee Spokesperson Svetlana Petrenko, TASS reported.
According to Petrenko, during the investigation into a criminal case on hindering Vyshinsky’s professional activities by Ukraine’s Prosecutor-General’s Office and his illegal criminal prosecution, "Russian investigators found out that head of the Investigative Department of the Ukrainian Security Service’s Main Directorate Andrei Prosnyak had been involved in those crimes."
"He informed Vyshinsky about the suspicion of committing a crime, which involves criminal liability for high treason. At the time this decision was made, Ukrainian law enforcement officers were well aware of the fact that the publications, which, in their opinion, encroached on Ukraine’s information security had been posted by third-party authors and before Vyshinsky was employed by the Rossiya Segodnya news agency. The Russian Investigative Committee believes that these materials contain no signs whatsoever that impair Ukraine’s safety," Petrenko noted
