New Delhi, Mar 23 (UNI) The Rajya Sabha will be adjourned sine die after the passage of the Finance Bill, 2020, in the Upper House, Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu said on Monday.
Soon after the House assembled for the day, the Chairman said that he had held a meeting with the leaders of various parties, including Leader of the House and the Leader of the Opposition and it was decided that due to the situation arising from the outbreak of coronavirus in the country, the House will be adjourned after the return of the Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bills and the Finance Bills.
The Budget Session was scheduled to conclude on April 3, Friday.
