New Delhi, Dec 16 (UNI) The Rajya Sabha was today adjourned sine die after a four-week-long Winter session which was nearly washed out due to the disruptions by the Opposition as well as Treasury benches on the issues of demonetisation and the AgustaWestland deal. In his valedictory statement, Chairman Hamid Ansari, expressed concern over the continuous disruptions of the House by both the sides and said all the sides needed to introspect on the distinction between dissent, disruption and agitation. 'The 241st session of the Rajya Sabha comes to a close today. The Secretary General will make available the statistical information on the session,' the Chairman said. Thereafter he called for playing the National song. 'The House is adjourned sine die,' he said. More UNI AR AE 1150
