Rs 70000 cr being spent for welfare programmes: AP Finance Minister

Kakinada, Nov 12 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Monday said under the poverty eradication programmes, all the poor in various communities without any caste barriers were being given support for economic development in the state.

Addressing a public meeting at Ananda Bharati Grounds here, arranged in connection with the distribution of assets to the beneficiaries of Kakinada division at the mega loan mela, he said that Rs 70,000 crore were being spent in the state budget for the welfare programmes in this financial year, covering SC, BC, Kapu, Minorities, Brahmin, Vysya and economically-backward in other communities.
