Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 16 2017 11:06PM RPI-Bahujan Mahasangh activists take out morcha in NandedNanded, Jan 16 (UNI) The activists of the RPI-Bahujan Mahasangh today took out a morcha to the collectorate here, demanding waiving off of loans taken from micro-finance companies and to make a special Act for these companies. Over 1,000 women started the march from Mahatma Phule statue and went to the collectorate. There, a petition was submitted to the collector about their various demands particularly to take action against the agents of the micro-finance agencies who allegedly mentally harass women for recovery of the loan. There are 654 groups of women in the district who have availed loan from various micro-financing companies, most of which charge about 24 to 36 per cent rate of interest.
