Romania reports one new monkeypox case

Bucharest, July 24 (UNI/Sputnik) Romania has identified one new monkeypox case in a 39-year-old man in the northwestern city of Cluj-Napoca, the country's health ministry said on Sunday.
The first patient infected with monkeypox was diagnosed in Romania on June 13. To date, the country confirmed a total of 20 monkeypox cases.
"A new case of monkeypox infection has been confirmed in Romania. This refers to the man aged 39 from the city of Cluj-Napoca. He remains isolated in the hospital," the ministry said in a statement.
