Rising Stars Football Festival: Quepem emerge winners in U10 boys category

Vasco Feb 21 (UNI) Vodafone India, leading telecom service provider in the country and Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) today announced the winners of third edition of ‘Vodafone GFDC Rising
Stars Football FestivaI’ at a gala ceremony held at Tilak Stadium here.
GFDC Quepem emerged as the winners in U10 boys category, GFDC Aldona bagged the top spot in U13 boys category. In U13girls category, U13 Quepem emerged as champions. The winners were felicitated with trophies and medals at the hands of Goa Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar, MLA Carlos Almeida, Ashish Chandra, Business Head, Maharashtra and Goa, Vodafone India, Dr Rufino Monteiro, Chairman – GFDC and Alexio Da Costa, Member Secretary, GFDC, Special Invitees –Deepak Naik, Chairperson, Vasco Municipal
