Relief materials rushed to cyclone affected to Srikakulam and Odisha from Rajahmundry

Kakinada, May 3 (UNI) At the instance of the Central government, the East Godavari district administration has been rushing relief materials to cyclone ravaged Srikakulam district and neighbouring Odisha state .

District Collector Kartikeya Mishra told media that the special assistance was being sent on war footing to
both the places where the cyclone disaster was high.

He said arrangements were made to send 100 generators and 100 power saws to Srikakulam and 3 to 4 lakh water packets, chlorine tablets and relief materials to Odisha state from Rajahmundry with the Indian Navy assistance.
