Regionalism still a powerful force: AGP president

Guwahati, Dec 30(UNI) Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) president and Assam Cabinet minister Atul Bora today asserted that regionalism is still a powerful force to solve problems of the people as had been proven by success of regional political parties in the country.
Addressing a press conference here, Bora said, "Regional politics is still relevant and is a strong force to solve the problems of the society, which have been proved in other parts of the country."
He added that the AGP was committed towards its responsibility to the state to take forward regional politics in the midst of crisis in the Assamese society.
