New Delhi, Jul 9 (UNI) India looks at the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) as a logical extension of its Act East Policy and it holds enormous potential for economic growth and stability for the entire region, Commerce & Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said here on Tuesday.
He was speaking at the India – ASEAN Troika Trade Ministers’ meeting wherein he and other counterparts held informal consultation on the ongoing Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
Besides Mr Goyal, the meeting was attended among others by the Acting Minister of Commerce of Thailand, Chutima Bunyapraphasara, Minister of Trade of Indonesia, Enggartiasto Lukita, Secretary General, ASEAN, Lim Jock Hoi and TNC Chair of RCEP, Iman Pambagyo.
