New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das on Sunday said that he has tested positive for novel coronavirus.
The Governor, in a twitter post, said that he is feeling well and is asymptomatic. "Have alerted those who came in contact in recent days. Will continue to work from isolation. Work in RBI will go on normally. I am in touch with all Dy Govs and other officers through VC and telephone," Mr Das said.
Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan replying to Mr Das' post, wished the latter speedy recovery.
Notably, an RBI Central Board meeting on Friday was chaired by the Governor through video conferencing. In the meeting, the Board reviewed the current economic situation, continued global and domestic challenges and various areas of operations of the Reserve Bank.
