Quality Analysis Laboratory of NE opened at ICAR, Imphal

Imphal, JUL 30 (UNI) Horticulture and Soil Conservation Minister Thounaojam Shyamkumar today inaugurated ICAR NEH Quality Analysis Laboratory, Manipur at the ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region Manipur Centre, Lamphelpat, Imphal West.
It is the first of its kind of laboratory, especially under the public sector, which is established in the entire North East region.
Minister Th. Shyamkumar said that the laboratory will play an important role in quality analysis in Manipur and in the entire North East region. He informed that the laboratory will help in checking the quality of food items/products which are beneficial for the human consumption.

Bhubaneswar, May 6 (UNI) As many as 113 of the total 243 candidates, about 47 percent, who are in the fray in 28 Assembly seats in Odisha, going to polls on May 13 next, have criminal records against themselves, according to Odisha Election watch report prepared by Association for Democratic Reforms(ADR).
