Pune Commissioner ceremonially commences work of SMART Sinhagad Police Station

Pune, Sep 13 (UNI) In a move to modernizing the security apparatus of this city,Police Commissioner K Venkatesham ceremonially commenced the work of the SMART Sinhagad Police Station at Hingane here on Friday.
Commenting on the need for such infrastructure,Commissioner Venkatesham said,"There was a need for a SMART police station at Sinhagad road which will facilitate more efficient implementation of law and order. This demand is going to be fulfilled now."
Introduced by the previous Modi government,the acronym SMART signifies the qualities,an ideal police station must have for working efficiently in an optimal manner.
