Puducherry LG expresses concern over spurt in nCoV cases

Puducherry, Jul 5 (UNI) Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi on Sunday expressed concern over the increasing number of Corona Virus Disease (COVID 19) patients in the union territory in the last one week.
"The increase in the number of patients despite so much of mask wearing, social distancing, Arogya Setu and Sanitation is a matter to worry. She said people from the neighbourhood places are slipping in without knowing that they are infected by the virus and over a period the visiting families here are getting infected by the virus. Since, many of our neighbourhoods are still under containment zone,we have to be very careful" the Lieutenant Governor.
Ms Bedi asserted that till Tamilnadu is normalized, Pudcuherry will remain 'very' vulnerable and therefor people of Puducherry must be very careful in ensuring that they follow all guidelines.

The CPI(M) politburo member talking to the media after voting at RC Amala school booth at Pinarayi near Dharmadam, said Jayarajan should practice caution while choosing friends from the political opponent spectrum.
