Public reception for actor Surabhi Lakshmi

Kozhikode, May 20 (UNI) Ace actor Surabhi Lakshmi, hogging the limelight for winning National Film Award this year, will be accorded a public reception at her native Narikkuni in this district of Kerala on May 22.
Announcing the programme, reception committee Chairperson and Narikkuni Grama Panchayat President P K Vabitha and K P Mohanan Master said large section of people cutting across political affiliation would participate in the reception.
Surabhi, who will be taken to the venue in a specially arranged vehicle and accompanied by traditional musical instruments, would be escorted by leading theatre and film actors, they said.
They would include well known Director Jayaraj, his wife Sabitha Jayaraj, Music Director Auseppachhan, actors and Directors Rima Kallingal, Remya Nambeesan, Vidhu Vinscent, Sajitha Madathil, Vijayan Karanthur, Vinod Kovur and Didi Damodaran.
Cultural and musical progammes have also been organized to enthral audience, they said adding Karat Rasaq, MLA would preside over the function in the presence of District Panchayat President Babu Parasseri.
Surabhi won the National Film Award for Best Actress in 2017 for the Malayalam film, Minnaminungu at the 64th National Film Awards.
