Public Affairs Forum appoints new office bearers

New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) The Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI) today announced the appointment of Managing Director, Public Affairs & Strategic Engagements Cisco India & SAARC Harish Krishnan as its President for 2017-18.

He has taken charge over as the new President from Rahul Sharma, President, Rediffusion Communications upon completion of his successful term, the organisation said in a statement.

K C Ravi, Vice President, Commercial Acceptance & Public Policy, South Asia, Syngenta India Limited has taken over as the new Vice President while Raman Sidhu, Chairman, EBG Federation, India (erstwhile European Business Group) has taken over as the new Secretary of the organisation, and Ishteyaque Amjad, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Coca-Cola India Pvt Ltd, as the new Treasurer.

Harish Krishnan, the incoming PAFI President said, “I am honoured to be elected as President PAFI. In the year ahead, PAFI will focus on bringing best practices for Government, Industry interaction which will help evidence based policy formulation.”

“A special emphasis will be on capacity building in public affairs as well as promoting ethics and integrity,” he added.
