New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) Several people at different places staged protests demanding stern punishment for the accused in the Hathras girl's alleged gang-rape incident in which the victim succumbed to her injuries at Safdarjung hospital here on Tuesday.
Thirty-two male protesters were detained for illegal protest near Mansingh Road in Lutyens Delhi, the police said and a few female protesters who were part of the protesting group were removed from the spot, police added.
The protesters belonged to AISA and Bhim Army, the police said and legal action under relevant sections of law is being taken, the police added.
