Protest against Adani's seaport withdrawn

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 6 (UNI) The protest against the construction of the Adani's seaport in Vizhinjam was called off after a meeting between the representatives of the agitation and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan here on Tuesday.
Talking to newspersons here, Latin Catholic Church Vicar General Eugene Pereira said most of their demands including a proper compensation package were accepted by the ruling Left Government.
Earlier, the construction activities of the Adani's Vizhinjam International Seaport were temporarily stopped due to the protest led by the priests of Latin Catholic Church.
