Promote Sports in country; Goel calls upon PSUs and PSBs

New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) Sports Minister Vijay Goel today called upon the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Public Sector Banks (PSBs) to contribute significantly for promotion of sports in the country.
Several CMDs were among those who represented the PSUs and PSBs at the meeting, chaired by the Union Minister (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports, Vijay Goel.
In his remarks at the meeting Mr Goel called upon the PSUs and PSBs to come forward and contribute significantly for the promotion of sports in the country. He said that since they have a vast reach and resources which can be used for growth of sports in the country.
