President appoints Judges, Additional Judges for Madras and Rajasthan HCs

New Delhi, Apr 8 (UNI) President Pranab Mukherjee today appointed Judges and Additional Judges in different High Courts of the country. According to an official statement, the President appointed V Bharathidasan, D Krishnakumar, S S Sundar, M V Muralidaran, Ponnusamy Kalaiyarasan and B Gokuldas as Judges of the Madras High Court, in order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. The President also appointed Ganga Ram Moolchandani, Deepak Maheshwari, Vijay Kumar Vyas, Kailash Chandra Sharma, Goverdhan Bardhar, Pankaj Bhandari, and Dinesh Chandra Somani as Additional Judges of the Rajasthan High Court. The statement said, the appointment of Ganga Ram Moolchandani, Deepak Maheshwari, Vijay Kumar Vyas, Goverdhan Bardhar, Pankaj Bhandari, and Dinesh Chandra Somani, would be for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge. However, the period of appointment of Kailash Chandra Sharma would be with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office till December 31, 2017. UNI RBE PR1221
